The Crawford Township Volunteer Fire Department is a 100% Volunteer Fire Department located in Northeast North Carolina in Currituck County with an ISO 5 rating with method 3. Their fire district is a primarily rural area which sits along Route 168 which is the primary roadway for motorists traveling from Virginia and points north to the Outer Banks of North Carolina. They operate a primary station and two sub-stations within our 85 square mile first due response area.

Turns out that the elevator was stuck and people were stuck in it.
