RALEIGH, N.C. - A procession of fire trucks rounds the block of the parade route of the North Carolina Fire Fighters Foundation (NCFFF) during the foundations eighth annual Parade and Memorial Service here, May 4. The NCFFF honors fire fighters who have given their lives to fight fire. On this day, the North Carolina Air National Guard’s MAFFS 7 crew members who perished were honored and their names were placed on the NCFFF fallen fighters monument downtown as a tribute to their sacrifice. The MAFFS 7 crew members were killed in 2012 while working on the White Draw Fire in South Dakota.
