Aurora Fire Chief Receives CFA Designation

Mike Garcia, the city’s fire chief, achieved professional accreditation by the Commission on Fire Accreditation’s International Chief Fire Officer Designation Program on June 2. The program was created to recognize fire officers who have demonstrated excellence and outstanding achievement throughout their career. Achieving the designation requires having a strong educational background, diverse participation in emergency services at the local, state and national level, and demonstrated involvement in the broader community — all validated by emergency services colleagues. Download Free Firefighter Wordpress Theme

This is my first attempt at making a Wordpress theme, with some help from my wife. I have been looking all over for something that resembled a firefighter theme, but could not find anything close or free. ecently my wife has been having a lot of problems with her website because she kept downloading free Wordpress templates only to find out that they did not work correctly. We finally decided to pay the $49 for Artisteer which is a software that lets you make your own templates. It is really easy to use. She made a couple the other day and asked me if I wanted to make some fire themes for my site. We started working on it together and when she put the kids to bed I worked on it myself. It was real easy to understand any did not take me long to make the template. The part that took the longest was finding picture that I wanted. The header picture is an original picture of mine taken at Louis F. Garland Fire Academy at Goodfellow AFB in San Angelo, Texas. The photo was taken during Haz-M
